Bexuti is a custom 3D printing workshop based at 125 Church Road in Bristol. We started in 2022 with a single FDM printer and a handful of local clients who needed one-off parts made quickly. Four years on, the workshop has grown into a team of 14 people covering design, printing and finishing, and we now work across four areas of Bristol and the surrounding districts.
The business began after our founder, working as a mechanical fitter, kept running into the same problem: small replacement parts that were either discontinued or too expensive to order from a manufacturer. A desktop printer bought to solve that one problem turned into a small production line, then a proper workshop with a mix of FDM and resin machines. Word spread among local tradespeople and hobbyists, and the client list grew from a few dozen in the first year to 728 served in total by now.
We have completed 910 jobs since opening, ranging from single prototype parts to batches of 50 or more identical components. About a quarter of our clients, 182 in total, have returned for a second project, which tells us more about repeat needs than about any claim we could make ourselves.
Our aim is straightforward: turn a drawing, a scan or even a rough sketch into a physical part that fits and functions, within a timeframe that suits the client's project. We do not promise perfection on the first attempt for complex geometries, but we do promise a clear explanation of what is achievable with a given material and tolerance, and we reply to enquiries within 24 hours.
Looking ahead, we want to keep the workshop small enough that every job gets checked by someone who understands the material properties involved, rather than scaling into a facility where parts move through without a second look.
We tell clients which of our 13 services and materials actually suits their load, temperature or finish requirement, even if that means recommending a cheaper option or a different process entirely.
Every print job is logged with the file version, material batch and settings used, so if a part needs reprinting or adjusting later, we can match it exactly.
If a design will not print well as drawn, we say so before starting, along with what change would fix it, rather than printing a part we know will fail.
We check the 3D file or scan for wall thickness, overhangs and tolerances, and flag anything that needs adjusting before quoting.
Based on load, exposure to heat or moisture, and finish needed, we suggest a plastic or resin from our current range.
Parts are printed in batches, measured against the original drawing, and inspected for layer adhesion and surface defects.
Sanding, support removal or painting is done as agreed, then the parts are packed and either collected or sent out.
